Projects Introduction
Medical Assistance for Disadvantaged Children
Children are essential to the nation's sustainable future, making the protection of their health a fundamental societal responsibility and a cornerstone of public health.
The Foundation is dedicated to promoting life and health, focusing specifically on children living in poverty who are affected by severe diseases. It addresses major childhood conditions such as thalassemia, congenital heart disease, and preterm birth, providing high-quality medical support to children with diseases and improving their living conditions and future opportunities. Furthermore, the Foundation raises awareness about childhood disease prevention and offers training for grassroots healthcare professionals, empowering local medical systems and enhancing treatment capabilities for childhood diseases in underdeveloped areas.
The project has provided medical assistance to over 2,233 impoverished children suffering from serious diseases, including thalassemia, congenital heart disease, and prematurity, with total funding exceeding 75 million yuan.

The project has established relief centers in six provinces, covering all high-prevalence areas of thalassemia across mainland China.

The project collaborates with 33 medical experts and partners with 37 hospitals and medical institutions.

Over 140 educational events have been held, directly benefiting more than 30,000 individuals and indirectly impacting over 1 million people.

The project has trained over 2,300 primary-level doctors across multiple specialties, including pediatrics, hematology, obstetrics, and preventive healthcare.
Nearly 900 Jingyan Care Packages have been distributed, providing essential items such as sterilization cabinets to alleviate the financial burden on families affected by thalassemia.
Follow-up visits have been conducted for over 600 children with severe diseases, covering a total travel distance of more than 200,000 kilometers.
