Beijing Jingyan Foundation Rated as 4A Organization
Recently, the Beijing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau released the 2023 Social Organization Evaluation results, and the Beijing Jingyan Foundation was recognized as a 4A-grade organization.
The Social Organization Evaluation, conducted by the civil affairs department, is a thorough and objective assessment of social organizations, culminating in an evaluation grade. It is widely regarded as one of the most authoritative and credible assessments in China's public welfare sector.
A total of 257 organizations participated in this evaluation, with 99 achieving the 4A rating, including 39 4A-rated foundations.

The Social Organization Evaluation focused on five key areas: internal governance of foundations, party building, effectiveness in fulfilling responsibilities, compliance with regulations, and the development of integrity.

The Beijing Jingyan Foundation has been legally registered and operates with a sound internal governance structure, comprehensive project management systems, and standardized procedures. Its financial management is transparent and regulated, while its information disclosure is accurate, complete, and timely. The staff actively fulfills their duties and demonstrates strong capabilities in business activities. This evaluation result not only recognizes and affirms the Foundation's commitment to standardized operations and its active participation in social welfare, but also serves as a motivation and encouragement for its future development.
Since its establishment, the Beijing Jingyan Foundation has remained committed to its mission of "engaging in public welfare and contributing to society," with a primary focus on caring for life and health. The Foundation has focused on children in need, particularly those suffering from severe illnesses such as thalassemia, congenital heart disease, and premature birth. Through various initiatives, including the Building Love for Thalassemia Action, Heart Guardian and Love Guardian projects, the Foundation has partnered with major public hospitals and professional welfare organizations to provide high-quality medical services to children, while working to improve the medical treatment standards in underdeveloped regions.
To date, the Beijing Jingyan Foundation has organized more than 120 awareness campaigns and training sessions for doctors in collaboration with local governments and medical institutions. The Foundation has provided assistance to 1,285 critically ill children, with a total aid amount exceeding 61.28 million RMB.
Moving forward, the Foundation will persist in its efforts to treat children from impoverished backgrounds with severe illnesses, raise awareness of major pediatric diseases, and empower grassroots healthcare institutions. It aims to prevent and control severe childhood diseases from the source. Furthermore, the Foundation is committed to improving the living and developmental conditions of disadvantaged children, helping them grow into healthy individuals who can contribute to the development of their communities and the revitalization of rural areas in the future.
